Conscience | November 28
”The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.
But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other…”
And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts…”

Father, we know that at which we choose to look enters into our minds and sometimes invades our hearts. Help us to simply look away from evil and not to hesitate and gaze upon that which You hate.
We know we can not serve two masters, evil and good, and that when we choose to give space in our lives to evil that You not only notice but that it actually grieves You.
Help us O’God to never disappoint You. Lead us in paths of righteousness, every moment of every day, that we might have a clear conscience. We know Father that eternity belongs to those who belong to You. Help us to be Your “Light filled” obedient and trusting children. In Jesus Holy name, we pray, amen.
