PSALM 18:25-35

25 With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful; with a blameless man You will show Yourself blameless;
26 With the pure You will show Yourself pure; and with the devious You will show Yourself shrewd.
27 For You will save the humble people, but will bring down haughty looks.
28 For You will light my lamp; the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.
29 For by You I can run against a troop, by my God I can leap over a wall.
30 As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is proven; he is a shield to all who trust in Him.
31 For who is God, except the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God?
32 It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect.
33 He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on my high places.
34 He teaches my hands to make war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
35 You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; your right hand has held me up, your gentleness has made me great.

PSALM 133:1-3

1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments.
3 It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the LORD commanded the blessing– life forevermore.

ISAIAH 32:17-18

17 The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.
18 My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places,

JOB 36:5-7

5 “Behold, God is mighty, but despises no one; he is mighty in strength of understanding.
6 He does not preserve the life of the wicked, but gives justice to the oppressed.
7 He does not withdraw His eyes from the righteous; but they are on the throne with kings,

PSALM 37:12-13

12 The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth.
13 The Lord laughs at him, for He sees that his day is coming.

PSALM 37:25-26

25 I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.
26 He is ever merciful, and lends; and his descendants are blessed.

PSALM 45:6-7

6 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
7 You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your companions.

PSALM 90:4

4 For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it is past, and like a watch in the night.

PSALM 102:11-28

11 My days are like a shadow that lengthens, and I wither away like grass.
12 But You, O LORD, shall endure forever, and the remembrance of Your name to all generations.
13 You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favor her, yes, the set time, has come.
14 For Your servants take pleasure in her stones, and show favor to her dust.
15 So the nations shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth Your glory.
16 For the LORD shall build up Zion; he shall appear in His glory.
17 He shall regard the prayer of the destitute, and shall not despise their prayer.
18 This will be written for the generation to come, that a people yet to be created may praise the LORD.
19 For He looked down from the height of His sanctuary; from heaven the LORD viewed the earth,
20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner, to release those appointed to death,
21 To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and His praise in Jerusalem,
22 When the peoples are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.
23 He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days.
24 I said, “O my God, do not take me away in the midst of my days; your years are throughout all generations.
25 Of old You laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands.
26 They will perish, but You will endure; yes, they will all grow old like a garment; like a cloak You will change them, and they will be changed.
27 But You are the same, and Your years will have no end.
28 The children of Your servants will continue, and their descendants will be established before You.”

PSALM 103:1-22

1 Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The LORD executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed.
7 He made known His ways to Moses, his acts to the children of Israel.
8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.
9 He will not always strive with us, nor will He keep His anger forever.
10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
13 As a father pities his children, so the LORD pities those who fear Him.
14 For He knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust.
15 As for man, his days are like grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
16 For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.
17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children,
18 To such as keep His covenant, and to those who remember His commandments to do them.
19 The LORD has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.
20 Bless the LORD, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word.
21 Bless the LORD, all you His hosts, you ministers of His, who do His pleasure.
22 Bless the LORD, all His works, in all places of His dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul!

PSALM 145:5-9

5 I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and on Your wondrous works.
6 Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts, and I will declare Your greatness.
7 They shall utter the memory of Your great goodness, and shall sing of Your righteousness.
8 The LORD is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy.
9 The LORD is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works.

PROVERBS 3:32-35

32 …the perverse person is an abomination to the LORD, but His secret counsel is with the upright.
33 The curse of the LORD is on the house of the wicked, but He blesses the home of the just.
34 Surely He scorns the scornful, but gives grace to the humble.
35 The wise shall inherit glory, but shame shall be the legacy of fools.

PROVERBS 9:7-12

7 “He who corrects a scoffer gets shame for himself, and he who rebukes a wicked man only harms himself.
8 Do not correct a scoffer, lest he hate you; rebuke a wise man, and he will love you.
9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
10 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
11 For by me your days will be multiplied, and years of life will be added to you.
12 If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, and if you scoff, you will bear it alone.”

PROVERBS 25:2-3

2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.
3 As the heavens for height and the earth for depth, so the heart of kings is unsearchable.

PROVERBS 29:26-27

26 Many seek the ruler’s favor, but justice for man comes from the LORD.
27 An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous, and he who is upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked.

ECCLESIASTES 7:1-4

1 A good name is better than precious ointment, and the day of death than the day of one’s birth;
2 Better to go to the house of mourning than to go to the house of feasting, for that is the end of all men; and the living will take it to heart.
3 Sorrow is better than laughter, for by a sad countenance the heart is made better.
4 The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth.

ISAIAH 57:13

13 When you cry out, let your collection of idols deliver you. But the wind will carry them all away, a breath will take them. But he who puts his trust in Me shall possess the land, and shall inherit My holy mountain.”

HABAKKUK 1:12-13

12 Are You not from everlasting, O LORD my God, my Holy One?…
13 You are of purer eyes than to behold evil, and cannot look on wickedness…

LUKE 5:22-25

22 …Jesus perceived their thoughts… and said to them, “Why are you reasoning in your hearts?
23 “Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise up and walk’?
24 “But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”– He said to the man who was paralyzed, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”
25 Immediately he rose up before them, took up what he had been lying on, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.

LUKE 6:47-49

47 “Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like:
48 “He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.
49 “But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”

JOHN 1:18

18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

2 CORINTHIANS 12:6-10

6 (Paul said) For though I might desire to boast, I will not be a fool; for I will speak the truth. But I refrain, lest anyone should think of me above what he sees me to be or hears from me.
7 And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.
8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me.
9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

JOHN 3:30

30 “He must increase, but I must decrease.

1 TIMOTHY 2:1-6

1 …I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,
2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,
6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,

2 PETER 3:8-13

8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,
12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

ACTS 4:32-37

32 Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.
33 And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.
34 Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold,
35 and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need.
36 And Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of the country of Cyprus,
37 having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

ACTS 5:1-12

1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession.
2 And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself?
4 “While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”
5 Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things.
6 And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him.
7 Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.
8 And Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?” She said, “Yes, for so much.”
9 Then Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”
10 Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband.
11 So great fear came upon all the church and upon all who heard these things.
12 And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch.

JAMES 1:13-15

13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.
15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

HEBREWS 6:18

18 …it is impossible for God to lie…

1 CORINTHIANS 13:1-8

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails…

1 PETER 1:15-16

15 …as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,
16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
